Brandon Barnes was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 6th round of the 2005 amateur draft. At the age of 26 he was called up to the big leagues with the Astros and played his first game on August 7, 2012. Now in his official rookie campaign he is the starting center fielder for the Houston Astros. Barnes has the potential of becoming a 5-tool player.
