Brandon Sherrod of the Roseto Sharks joins the PG Sports Team!
We are pleased to announce that Brandon Sherrod of the Roseto Sharks is now part of the PG Sports Team. The Roseto Sharks is an Italian professional basketball team competing in the Serie A2 Basket league. He is currently averaging 11.5 ppg and 6.2 rpg. Sherrod a native of Bridgeport, Connecticut, played power forward at Yale University.
Sherrod is more unique than most athletes and it's not because he's a freak athlete. He played 3 seasons at Yale then had the chance to sing around the globe with the world famous Whiffenpoofs. The Whiffernpoofs of Yale is America's oldest collegiate a cappella group and only 14 seniors get chosen each year. After a year of great experiences singing around the world 
Sherrod was able to return to the Yale basketball team for the 2015-16 season. The 2015-16 season turned out to be Sherrod and the Yale Bulldogs best season. Sherrod averaged 12.7 ppg and 7 rpg which helped lead Yale to an Ivy League Championship and to their first trip to the NCAA tournament since 1962. The magic didn't end there as they upset Baylor in the first round for the school's first-ever tournament victory. As you can see Brandon Sherrod had an amazing ride at Yale.
